Service Projects – Community

The Concordville-Chadds Ford Rotary Club members have big hearts for the children in our communities and strive to promote the following initiatives:

• Holiday Assistance- gifts for children from families facing hardships
• Contributions to the Rachel Kohl Community Library
• Dictionary Project, providing dictionaries to third graders
• Four-Way Test Speech Competition for High Schoolers, fostering ethics and public speaking
• Rotary Youth Leader Awards – fostering leadership
• Mel Drukin Garnet Valley Strive program, helping struggling students to succeed
• Four-year book scholarships for college-bound students
• Grants for vocational students to support their education or career setup
• Sponsorship of the Darlington Arts Center outreach programs
• Concord Township Community Playground and Gazebo
